Let me remind you that decision 3/COP.8 requests that each region shall develop a proposal on mechanisms to facilitate regional coordination of the implementation of the UNCCD.

Based on the TOR for the consultancy and by the consultative process with the Task Force Members of CEE Region I have elaborated the Questionnaire on providing and development Regional Coordination Mechanism (RCM).

I would like to ask you to fill in the questionnaire and send them back until the end of this week (preferably 6th of March).

Feel free to express your suggestions.

Хочу сообщить, что регион Центральной и Восточной Европы начинает консультативный процесс, согласно «десятилетний стратегический план и рамки деятельности по активизации осуществления Конвенции»- решение 3/КС8 , для выработки региональных предложений по координационным механизмам, которые должны будут способствовать выполнению положений конвенции и дальнейшей региональной координации.

Я Кетеван Церетели – избранна экспертом, для того чтобы помочь странам, сторонам конвенции региона Центральной и Восточной Европы, в выработке выше указанных предложений.
Я надеюсь, что наше сотрудничество будет плодотворным и будет способствовать успешному выполнению данной задачи.

Мне хочется, пригласит вас принять участие в Эл-форуме, который организовал Глобальный механизм. Благодаря этому форуму мы можем вести дискуссию в регионе для выработки механизмов по осуществлению конвенции « По борьбе с Опустыниванием»
